Saudi Pedophelia
I read the news about a court in the Saudi Arabian town of Unaiza which upheld the marriage of an eight-year-old girl to the much older man.
Now I, nor any of the people I know, would even allow this to happen, if it were in our hands of course.
They of course have whatever religious interpretation that they take at face value and interpret it as they wish, but a man who sells his eight year old daughter to another who is almost fifty in the name of marriage just to settle his debt, and the man agrees… then that is a cultural problem, because as far as I am concerned that is double jeopardy that would not normally happen if one of them was sane. Not to mention the judge that refuses to annul the marriage… that’s tripple jeopordy… shit like this is not supposed to happen… its just not supposed to happen.

I truly don’t understand how a legitimate “court” in this day and age can condone the marriage of a child to a 50 y/o man. There’s definitely something wrong with this picture. And the society that allows this type of behavior and views it as ok just because some old perverted judge says it is – well, God help us all…

i believe that our society needs quite a long time to change,i can see us in the dark ages of Europe,so if they made it after all,why can’t we>>patience people

Thanks for your comment, we seem to have one foot in the past and one in the future, but due to the large gap this thing is similar to doing the splits… for a very non flexible person, it hurts like no tomorrow.
