The Saudi Gay Diplomat
I have to say that I was not surprised that the Saudi gay diplomat story is being mentioned on every news site, he says that he fears for his life because he is gay and because he has a Jewish friend whom is a lady… of course good luck to him on his asylum seeking, but I do think the whole gay thing is being blown out of proportion.
Homosexuals exist in every society, remember the homosexual police impostor? he got punished (my views are in that post about his sentence) but not killed, remember the Saudi gay gigolo? he got a lawyer appointed to get him out of the mess he got himself into (my views on that are in this post) so when it comes to gays… Saudi never went all Cuba on gays and non of the Saudi Kings went Castro on them… just don’t expect to see any gay pride parades in a Saudi city anytime soon.
As to befriending Jews? I guess I should seek asylum on that, and maybe Saudi should cut all diplomatic ties with Bahrain a country which, a while ago appointed a Jewish Bahraini lady as an ambassador to the US.
Badmouthing your employer… well, that is what he should apply his asylum on, and guess what, show me an employer who likes to be takled bad about, and will not sue you if you do, even if you were right and had all the evidence in the world.
Again, good luck to him on his asylum seeking.

maybe there is something else behind that whole story.
as you said gay mostly got a jail time nowadays. befriending a Jewish is not a crime , i guess. And definitely not women .
even speaking against the country is not that bad , everyone does it. Unless it’s forbidden to do so when you are a diplomat !!! . after some thought i guess it’s forbidden .
